Involving your family
We understand that as a parent you need to be confident that BTBL is right for your family. There’s no hiding from the fact that some of the content is very candid. However, it is all communicated in a very positive future-focused way.
The workshops provide a safe environment for boys and girls, in separate sessions to listen, learn and talk about what is going on in their club and beyond.
Hearing how other swimmers have experienced the same feelings can be such a relief.
To be sure you’re ok with the content and it's a good fit for your swimmer, there is a parent handout for your club with details of topics and what we discuss in the workshop. If requested we can also do a 10-15 minute overview of the program for parents before the face-to-face workshop starts.
The online videos are also housed in a locked section and require your email address before they can be accessed by any family member less than 18 years of age.
